This is the second part of the conversation that I had with Jamey Donaldson from high on the mountain at the Baatany Goat Project Baase Camp.  He did survive the attack of the slugs, but is a more cautious napper now.

The goats will be coming off of the mountain on August 28, so if you want to see them hard at work preserving the grassy balds now is your time to hike out to see them. After August 28 they will be at their winter quarters in Shady Valley. Visiting hours there are much more restricted.

But the magic of the high altitude has once more stirred the creativity.  Be sure to listen for the Legend of BigDog. It answers a lot of questions about the history of the newest guard dog in the project.
