Celebrate National Trails Day – June 6.

This is a great hike to Celebrate National Trail Days on June 6.

Lisa Huff will be leading the hike from North Carolina into Tennessee over the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail. It will start with a carpool caravan and end back at the Hampton Creek Cove State Natural Area.

This is the Trail the Overmountain Men used in 1780 on the way to and from the revolutionary war battle of Kings Mountain.

This is a long, all day hike sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Natural Areas. This hike is not recommended for children or pets.
