Roan Mountain State Park Campground renovations: An update with Park Manager Jacob Young.
The massive improvement to the campground and cabin area is progressing. The campground opening should be around the first of May*. The online reservation is not scheduled to open until May 15 *.
* weather permitting*
Improvements include: paving, new electrical capacity and handicap accessible bath facilities.
