The staff at your favorite state park has been busy getting the Park ready for a big weekend. The renovations to the campground are completed. The paving is finished. And the online reservations system is up and ready to take your reservations.
The Dave Miller Farmstead was covered with a great article in the Johnson City Press by John Thompson. The Farmstead is being considered by the state to be listed as a state historic site. Nice article and lots of great pictures.
Sasquatch is still hiding on one of the trails in the Roan Mountain State Park. (hint: He is not on the Appalachian Trail.) He is hiding real good. this time. No one has found him in three weeks. Get you expedition together and hit the trails. Maybe you can be the one to find him and win an “I found Sasquatch” T-shirt.
