Jennifer Frick-Ruppert - Mountain Nature: A Seasonal Natural History of the Southern AppalachiansA new way to look at things on your next trip up the mountain.

Dr. Jennifer Frick-Ruppert will be the Friday evening speaker at the Fall Naturalists’ Rally, September 5.
After talking with her on Roan Mountain Radio, I need this book. “A seasonal guide” to exploring the Southern Appalachian Mountains. This is the book that I will take on the trail.  The other encyclopedias I will use for reference when I get home.

Jennifer’s presentation, will answer the question: Why is there such high biodiversity in the Southern Appalachian Mountains?
